.....Important Message for all Film Festivals

The producer/director of The Gift is still in the process of paying for the production of the film and is unable to release it free for public use at this time. We remind you that unauthorized reproduction, distribution, or exhibition of the film in whole or in part is in violation of copyright laws.

Any individuals to whom you would like to show the film in advance of its festival screening (prospective panelists for a discussion of the film, for example) should be invited to a private screening and are not to be given duplicated copies on VHS or DVD. We have found that there are many requests from audiences and others in the community for copies of The Gift.

If you would like AIDS organization representatives on your festival panels, invite them to a private screening of the film but please do not illegally duplicate and distribute this film to them. If people request copies of The Gift, please direct their inquiries to thegiftdocumentary.org. While we are very gratified that many of you are eager to send out the film and get the message out, we are currently developing a national outreach program to meet these demands and will ensure that the film will be available.
